DanD photography + Video | Architectural provides two simple forms of timelapse photography service: 'managed short term' and 'long term'. To keep it simple they can be defined as follows

- Managed short-term timelapse photography is when I come to site and manually capture proceedings over the course of a few hours / half a day max. High end digital SLR cameras and lenses are used which results in top quality capture that can then produce timelapse films at 4k/UHD or even higher if required. Motorized dolly rails are also be used which helps to add dynamic movement creating more cinematic footage and basically more interesting final footage

- Long-term timelapse photography simply put is anything that needs to be captured that takes more than a day, that can't be accomplished with a man manged shoot i.e. I am not present on site. The current method DanD uses for LTTL is: specialist weather proof, sealed battery operated cameras are installed in fixed positions for the period of time required. This is usually weeks or months and periodic site visits are required for checks and backups
